Narrative:
Aircraft X on the moxee arrival handed off to pdx approach. After hand off; pdx handed off aircraft to an internal sector which cause my data block to lose its mode C and display /0#. I should not be losing mode C on an aircraft just because it is put into a hand off status.

Title: ZSE Controller voiced concern regarding the loss of Mode-C information after a hand off was made to PDX followed by a subsequent internal PDX hand off.
Narrative: Aircraft X on the MOXEE arrival handed off to PDX Approach. After hand off; PDX handed off aircraft to an internal sector which cause my data block to lose its Mode C and display /0#. I should not be losing Mode C on an aircraft just because it is put into a hand off status.
