Narrative:

Dfw to law experienced a master warning light en route to law. The right engine oil pressure annunciator light was confirmed by oil pressure gauge dropping. We used the emergency checklist to shutdown right engine. We declared an emergency with ATC and asked to have emergency equipment standing by at law. We then proceeded to law west/O further complication. I am filing this report in case something were to turn up on an FAA investigation although I believe the situation was handled properly. Callback conversation with reporter revealed following information. Report made to chief pilot and he feels no further information will be required by the FAA. Believes an oil seal failed resulting in the loss of oil pressure. Has not been a continuing problem on the aircraft.
