Narrative:

While en route we experienced a dual heading failure on the #1 pfd HSI and the #2 pfd HSI. We had red heading fail annunciators on the both pfd's; the mfd; and the standby HSI. With this we also lost navigation information on the mfd. We ran the emergency checklist for dual heading failure; notified ATC of our status; and asked for vectors for the remainder of the flight.after approximately three minutes; the #1 pfd HSI came back. Approximately two minutes later the #3 pfd HSI started working. We chose not to continue the RNAV arrival into our destination but completed the flight with no other abnormalities.
