Narrative:

I was told by ATC to climb from 9;500 to 11;500 MSL on frequency 119.87 to clear the class B airspace. During the climb; I was told that an air carrier aircraft was at my 6 o'clock position at 5 miles overtaking me at 12;000 MSL. When I came through 11;300 MSL; the air carrier reported that they responded to an RA from their TCAS and made a big verbal issue on the radio. I had the correct altimeter setting (30.09 in. Hg.) in the window and saw 11;300 on my climb when the air carrier responded to the RA. I continued the flight with no concerns. I saw the air carrier aircraft after he made radio talk about the RA; and I don't think he was much less than 500' above me.
