Narrative:

I just completed initial merger integration training and aircraft QRH and non-normal training. I believe training involving changes of this scope and magnitude should be accomplished using both classroom and simulator training. In its current form; it is unsafe.increasingly; quality of training has suffered in recent years as the company continuously seeks to reduce costs. My recent transition training was by far the worst training I have experienced in my 25 years with the company. When coupled with this integration training and viewed in the aggregate; the trend appears to be cutting costs at the expense of safety.
