Narrative:
After maintenance [was] performed on aircraft (replaced the mode control panel (MCP)); the aircraft was returned to service. We verified all proper takeoff settings prior to taking the runway (flaps 15; indicating 15; spoilers down). This was the 3rd [takeoff] attempt that day in this aircraft. Applied takeoff thrust; selected 'thr' [(thrust)] on the MCP; and started acceleration. At approximately 40 KIAS; received the takeoff configuration warnings again (aural; configuration light; flaps and spoilers messages on EICAS). Performed the rejected [takeoff] and taxied clear of runway. All takeoff settings and indications were set properly for takeoff; [so we] returned to ramp for maintenance again.
Original NASA ASRS Text
