Narrative:

I was departing teterboro; nj and received the following clearance from ATC: cleared to ZZZ via the teterboro 6 departure; radar vectors; ILS 23 ZZZ; climb and maintain 3;000 ft. I flew the departure as necessary and upon landing the captain was instructed to contact new york TRACON. The controller who issued the clearance was incorrect and in too much of a hurry. The departure calls for 2;000 ft and in my read back I properly stated 'climb and maintain 3;000 ft.'
