Narrative:

I was unable to get adequate rest for early morning flight following an all night flight the day before. There is no way my body can physically and mentally adjust following an all night flight the prior evening. I find it hard to believe that a pilot cannot request to fly two early morning flights yet a reserve pilot can be assigned to fly an early morning trip immediately after flying an all night flight the day before. This is a serious safety issue. I feel that the aviation industry needs to adequately address this type of scheduling and prevent it from happening in the future as these types of schedules can lead to serious safety concerns.
