Narrative:

I was assigned to do an engineering request for a navigation database load on a B757-200 aircraft. It was a top priority. The next navigation cycle started seven days later. The database I loaded would be switched for use on that date by the flight crew. This was the first time I loaded a B757 database. I went thru three sets of navigation discs! All loads failed; the navigation disc loader said the discs were bad. We always have problems here in ZZZ loading databases; either the loader is bad or the discs are bad.
