Narrative:

At cruise altitude; due to decreasing fuel scores and FMC calculations for landing; we the crew realized the aircraft had more payload than originally flight planned. The difference in payload on the flight plan; and actual payload on the weight and balance was not caught by the efb. Dispatch was contacted along with director of operations who both agreed we should divert due to low landing fuel calculations. Efb needs to be fixed in order to flag a payload imbalance of + or - 10;000 pounds as the efb gave us a normal told card with no problems.

Title: An Air Carrier aircraft became airborne with a nearly 27;000 LB weight discrepancy which resulted in a high fuel burn. The flight crew later determined a dispatch release weight error was not detected before the information was entered in the EFB.

Narrative: At cruise altitude; due to decreasing fuel scores and FMC calculations for landing; we the crew realized the aircraft had more payload than originally flight planned.
