Narrative:
I was told to fly a wide pattern. ATC advised that the traffic I was to follow was on final. In the process of squaring off my traffic pattern I rolled out and found an small aircraft Y on my right. At this time ATC cleared me to land even though I requested a touch and go.

Narrative: I WAS TOLD TO FLY A WIDE PATTERN. ATC ADVISED THAT THE TFC I WAS TO FOLLOW WAS ON FINAL. IN THE PROCESS OF SQUARING OFF MY TFC PATTERN I ROLLED OUT AND FOUND AN SMA Y ON MY R. AT THIS TIME ATC CLRED ME TO LAND EVEN THOUGH I REQUESTED A TOUCH AND GO.
