Narrative:

This report concerns taxi; take-offs; and landings without tower radio contact while flying out of nip. I had previously flown with my flight instructor on one occasion when the tower was closed.flying this time as a solo pilot; I started engine and called for clearance to taxi on the COM1 radio. Hearing no response; I switched to tower and requested clearance. Hearing no response after several transmissions; I assumed tower was closed. I therefore broadcast my intentions and taxied out. I stopped and performed my engine run-up and then held short at the hold-short of the runway and broadcast my position to the tower requesting light signals. Hearing no response and seeing no light signals; I then broadcast that I was proceeding onto the runway for a back-taxi to the approach end of runway 28. I then broadcast I was taking off on runway 28 to enter a left downwind for touch-and-go's.I made an uneventful take-off. While announcing my position and intentions I then made an uneventful touch-and-go on runway 28. Upon commencing my turn to base leg for a second touch-and-go; I observed a red-and-green flashing light from the tower. I announced to tower 120.0 that I saw the light signal and requested green light to touch-and-go. I observed a green light so I completed the second touch-and-go. However it was becoming increasingly clear to me that I was in a very bad situation and that I needed to conclude this flight and get off the runway as quickly as possible.downwind abeam the numbers for runway 28 the third time; I again observed the flashing red-and-green light from the tower. I acknowledged; broadcast intention to make a full stop landing; and landed uneventfully. I requested clearance to the FBO apron; but hearing no response; proceeded directly to the apron and secured the engine.on the following day I was informed that the aircraft's radios checked ok and that the COM2 was the active. I do not know what frequency was selected on the COM2 radio.
