Narrative:

While turning in to park at ord; a fuel truck that didn't stop required me to abruptly stop the airplane. The fuel truck driver then stopped; backed up; and allowed us to continue to the gate. The lead-in lights were on and the light was green indicating it was safe to proceed to the gate. The light turned red when we stopped for the fuel truck. The truck appeared to be in a hurry to its' next fuel stop; and wasn't adequately aware of the aircraft in its' vicinity.
