Aircraft maintenance technician (amt) was performing a 3-Service check on an A320 aircraft and while performing the overwater check per maintenance computer; found both the X colored and Y colored lanyards not installed correctly at door 2-L. Reference maintenance manual (MM) 25-62-44 page 486; paragraph two and figure 410: 1st) the X colored lanyard was routed through the trigger and 2nd); the Y colored lanyard was not routed through the trigger.

Title: A Line Inspector and a Line Mechanic report about their involvement with two different colored lanyards found not positioned correctly on a slide/raft assembly they had installed on an A320 at cabin door-2L. A Down-line Mechanic also reports he noticed the lanyard discrepancies for the girt bar release hook and the survival kit during an overwater maintenance check.
