VFR flight from ramona to montgomery using sectional chart out of date. Flew south from ramona. Climb to 4000'. Chart indicated area to be a TRSA. Contacted san diego approach. Cleared at or above 3500' advised level 4000' told us to descend to 3500' to stay out of TCA after that issued clearance through TCA. Radar vectors to montgomery airport. Never use out of date charts.
