Narrative:

Aircraft X was navigating iah.LFK6.lfk.J101.lit.J131.pxv./.ZZZ. Aircraft X check on from iah TRACON on a 020 degree heading. The ZHU radar controller cleared the flight ' direct lfk' and entered direct lfk into the host computer. The host computer amended the flight plan to IAH013020..lfk..skkip..LFK026026..pxv... Host completely eliminated everything between lfk and pxv and inserted it's own routing.when the pilot reported on frequency in ZFW airspace; some ZFW controller noticed that the pilot was not on his host generated route of flight. Recommendation; do not allow host to amend flight plans when none was intended by the controller.
