Narrative:

On climb out on the tetra 1 departure. We were being radar vectored. Departure then cleared us direct to tetra. Due to the controller's broken english I asked twice to confirm the clearance. Both times were confirmed. Five minutes later another controller mentioned that we were off course. It was apparent that the prior controller meant to clear us to trika another fix on the departure instead of tetra. It is unfortunate that there are two similar sounding fixes on this departure; lending problems with at times broken english. There was no other aircraft observed in our vicinity during this.

Title: Air Carrier Captain reports confusion departing RJAA to the north on the TETRA 1 RNAV. TETRA and TRIKA are similar sounding fix names on this SID and a clearance direct TRIKA; although repeated twice sounded like TETRA and resulted in a track deviation.
