Narrative:

Passing through 6;000 ft; I performed the 'in range' items and the right engine died. I performed the memory items for an engine failure and upon reaching the 'fuel pump on high' step; power to the engine was restored. I leaned the right mixture accordingly and declared an emergency with center and requested a heading and a climb. I climbed to 8;000 ft; leveled off and brought the engine to high cruise to ensure it would run on a lower power setting. I was given the weather and decided to divert to ZZZ1 due to the significantly better weather. I was vectored for the RNAV approach. During the descent; I brought the engine back to cruise power to ensure that it would run on an even lower power setting. I broke out at around 3;000 ft and completed the approach in VMC. Upon landing; the right engine died; and I taxied to the ramp single engine. I was met by arff and it was noticed that fuel was leaking out of the right nacelle. The aircraft was secured and the passengers deplaned.

Title: Twin engine Cessna right engine failed descending through 6;000 feet. Pilot restored engine power while performing the Engine Failure checklist and diverted. Right engine failed after uneventful landing and Fire/Rescue crew noted fuel leaking from the right nacelle.
