Narrative:
ATC released us and gave us a void time which we met as we made our third call to local traffic. We were making a right turn onto runway 14 for departure and my partner cleared us right as I cleared us left. Having heard no other traffic in the area on the radio since we taxied out; I continued to make the right turn to align with the runway center line when I saw a single white light coming towards us. Realizing that it was a single engine plane; (what appeared to be cessna; high wing) in the dark of the night; I continued the right turn and cleared the runway.when we saw the plane climbing and departing in what appeared a right turn; we realigned with the centerline and departed as my partner tried to query the departing plane; which never made a call on the CTAF frequency; and we had verified the frequency more than once.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A CE680 encountered a departing opposite direction aircraft when they entered the runway at a non-towered airport for takeoff. They had heard no CTAF reports from the other pilot.
