Narrative:

Localizer/back course 26 approach to cyyr - ATIS: winds 300/15g24 SCT5500 BKN9000 6/-5 29.87. Vref- 141KTS. Target-158KTS. Tower reported winds: 290/11g20 +/- 5 to 10 KTS on approach with scattered light snow. Over runway (approximately 30-40%); and clear of all weather we received a GPWS windshear warning. Approach path had been stable; with no abnormal vertical path deviations or power requirements. No pitch excursions beyond 1-2 degrees; and no bank excursions beyond 5-7 degrees. With weather cell off departure end of runway and descent to runway stable at 160 KIAS (no speed or flight path fluctuations at time of warning); I felt that continuing with landing was the safest course of action. Landing was normal in all respects (smooth; on centerline; well within touchdown zone); though a few knots above vref due to pre-existing speed additive for gusty wind conditions.
