Narrative:

While taxiing out for takeoff; aircraft rolled approximately 10 ft after setting the parking brake. I noticed immediately that the aircraft was moving; and pointed it out to the first officer. The aircraft was only rolling for a few seconds; and by the time I was going to intercede; the parking brake engaged; bringing the airplane to a complete stop. I tried several times; but could not duplicate the anomaly. I wrote the preceding event up enroute. Upon landing; the parking brake worked normally. I called both maintenance and the flight manager to debrief them as to what happened.
