Narrative:
Aircraft cleared for takeoff. [It was a] clear day; daylight. Set takeoff power; all indications normal. Aircraft [was] rolling down centerline. Captain called for 'autoflight' after checking engine power settings normal; captain called 'you have it'. Pilot flying took control of aircraft. At 10 KTS; aircraft [began] an uncommanded hard right turn. Pilot flying and captain both pulled power levers to idle; captain took control of aircraft; applying full left rudder and brake; full left nose wheel steering input. Aircraft continued right turn until aircraft was stopped on the runway; right of centerline. Received clearance to taxi off the runway and returned to gate without further event. No system indications of any malfunction; no alerts; no reverser lights; all temperatures and pressures normal. Configuration systems page normal. Brake temperatures all normal when back at the ramp. All 3 pilots submit this report.

Title: An MD11 did a hard right turn at about 10 KTS as the takeoff roll was begun. The takeoff was rejected; aircraft control regained and the aircraft taxied to the gate.
