Narrative:
On short final; at night; a flock of geese flew into aircraft. It was a matter of seconds between seeing them and hitting them. We were approximately 400 AGL. Engine parameters did not change. During post flight; evidence of bird strike was noted on right prop; birdcatcher and right leading edge. After a maintenance inspection; further damage was noted on the right flap.

Title: An SF340 hit a flock of geese at 400 FT AGL during approach without any apparent effect.
Narrative: On short final; at night; a flock of geese flew into aircraft. It was a matter of seconds between seeing them and hitting them. We were approximately 400 AGL.
