Narrative:
On approach to runway 1C at iad at 2;200 MSL on an approximate 6-7 NM visual final at 180 KIAS with flaps 2 and gear up; we noticed an aircraft coming at us from the left slightly below our altitude. As we were contemplating either taking evasive action or querying tower; we received a TCAS RA to climb; which we complied with. The other aircraft turned towards the correct runway 1L; and the RA went away. We were able to continue the approach and land with no other issues. The approximate range was 300-500 ft vertically and 800-1;000 laterally.
