Narrative:

We were held up at 3;200 ft till 2 miles outside FAF. Crossing altitude was supposed to be 1;900 ft. We had to descend excessively to the glide slope. We broke out at about 1;000 ft AGL and were finally configured for landing. We were forced into an unstable approach with the weather down. Following the flight I called approach control. They indicated they have a problem with bfi missed approach traffic and cannot clear any traffic below 3;200 prior to the final approach fix. The next two aircraft had the same problem with approach control. Next time I will shoot the missed approach.
