Narrative:

I was using the reel station to reel up air and electrical cord on left hand side of aircraft using the 'in' button. I did not see it move; so I hit the 'in' button on the aircraft electrical/400 HZ and the hose in the back started to move. The forward electrical/400 HZ power cord was moving and I could not see it move or know it was moving until I heard someone yell. The external power cord was going up and it damaged the external power contactor on aircraft. I generated [wrote-up] a non-routine card. The aircraft is in for a heavy maintenance check and will be repaired.
