Narrative:
During descent left generator/left bus lights with a crosstie lockout light as well. Captain declared an emergency and was getting radar vectors while I worked the QRH to get full electrics back. No deviations noted. Landed uneventfully.

Title: An MD80's left generator faulted during the descent accompanied by a CROSSTIE LOCKOUT and the DC BUS OFF light. The Captain declared an emergency while the First Officer used the QRH to restore the electrical system.
Narrative: During descent left generator/left bus lights with a CROSSTIE LOCKOUT light as well. Captain declared an emergency and was getting radar vectors while I worked the QRH to get full electrics back. No deviations noted. Landed uneventfully.
