Narrative:

During landing at wrg, after T/D and application of braking and reverse thrust, the first officer made the statement: 'there is an airplane on the runway.' captain acknowledged, increased deceleration rate of aircraft, reversed course and taxied to parking west/O further incident. During the approach sequence, the crew of the landing aircraft announced their position to wrg CTAF 122.6 at least 3 different times. Each contact was acknowledged. The crew of the landing aircraft also announced their position to wrg local traffic on unicom 122.8. The aircraft on the ground at wrg was receiving a WX briefing on 122.6. During this extremely long radio transmission neither aircraft was cognizant of the position of the other. Neither aircraft was advised of the position of the other by wrg CTAF. An FAA air carrier inspector occupied the acm seat of the landing aircraft during this entire sequence of events. That inspector made the following statement: 'I was as surprised as you were to see that airplane.' captain had cockpit voice recorder removed and sent to chief pilot. Supplemental information from acn 90799: upon landing at wrg, runway 9, and after application of braking and reverse thrust, I (first officer) observed an aircraft at the far end.

Title: LANDED ON RWY WITH ACFT ON FAR END. NON TWR ARPT.

Narrative: DURING LNDG AT WRG, AFTER T/D AND APPLICATION OF BRAKING AND REVERSE THRUST, THE F/O MADE THE STATEMENT: 'THERE IS AN AIRPLANE ON THE RWY.' CAPT ACKNOWLEDGED, INCREASED DECELERATION RATE OF ACFT, REVERSED COURSE AND TAXIED TO PARKING W/O FURTHER INCIDENT. DURING THE APCH SEQUENCE, THE CREW OF THE LNDG ACFT ANNOUNCED THEIR POS TO WRG CTAF 122.6 AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. EACH CONTACT WAS ACKNOWLEDGED. THE CREW OF THE LNDG ACFT ALSO ANNOUNCED THEIR POS TO WRG LCL TFC ON UNICOM 122.8. THE ACFT ON THE GND AT WRG WAS RECEIVING A WX BRIEFING ON 122.6. DURING THIS EXTREMELY LONG RADIO XMISSION NEITHER ACFT WAS COGNIZANT OF THE POS OF THE OTHER. NEITHER ACFT WAS ADVISED OF THE POS OF THE OTHER BY WRG CTAF. AN FAA ACR INSPECTOR OCCUPIED THE ACM SEAT OF THE LNDG ACFT DURING THIS ENTIRE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS. THAT INSPECTOR MADE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT: 'I WAS AS SURPRISED AS YOU WERE TO SEE THAT AIRPLANE.' CAPT HAD COCKPIT VOICE RECORDER REMOVED AND SENT TO CHIEF PLT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 90799: UPON LNDG AT WRG, RWY 9, AND AFTER APPLICATION OF BRAKING AND REVERSE THRUST, I (F/O) OBSERVED AN ACFT AT THE FAR END.
