Narrative:

We were flying the marcs nine arrival approximately 8;000 ft MSL 10 miles prior to troop intersection. Something at our 3 o'clock position approximately 5-10 miles from aircraft caught our attention. As I looked at it I realized it was light from a green laser pointer pointing towards our aircraft. I informed the captain and he informed ATC. We then landed safely at sat. During passenger deplaning; a C-5 crew member wanted to make sure we were aware he noticed we were being 'painted' by a green laser while we were on descent.
