Narrative:
While performing a number-2 engine oil service on a B757-200; I noticed the # 2 front (main landing gear) medium large transport wheel was missing one tie bolt. Tire was replaced per (maintenance manual) MM 32-45-01. No delay was incurred due to tire wheel assembly replacement. Remaining portion of bolt will be held for [investigation]. As I stated in my previous report; there seems to be a trend in broken wheel tie bolts. This was an inbound trip.
