Narrative:

A crj-9 departed runway 25R and a helicopter was on a strip tour. When I advised the crj to contact departure; he did not respond. When I again told the crj to contact departure; he replied; something to this effect 'it sure would have been nice to know about the traffic; we received an RA.' I didn't know what he was talking about because I didn't feel any aircraft were a conflict for him. I responded that all the helicopter traffic remained west of the airport and to contact departure. Later; the supervisor was notified by the TRACON that the crj had asked for the tower phone number and was going to call later. We then tried to figure out who he was talking about; traffic wise; and figured the only aircraft he could have been talking about was the helicopter. Again; I never saw the helicopter as a traffic factor or I would have told him about it. Recommendation; we should have on our ATIS; every day; 'use caution for helicopter traffic on and in the vicinity of the airport.'
