Narrative:

I was recently ferrying an air tractor 602. I departed and was headed for for a fuel stop. Somewhere in route my GPS became unreliable and I was not sure of my location. I was running short on fuel and decided to land at the first airport I saw. I inadvertently penetrated a restricted area because of not knowing where I was on descent. In the future I will always cross reference my sectional instead of solely depending on my electronic display.
