Narrative:

Climbing out at approximately FL250 we got a blue hydraulic system overheat ECAM. I was the pilot not flying; so I complied with the ECAM and followed up with the book. The system cooled and I turned the blue pump back on as per the ECAM and flight manual. After that was complete; I called dispatch and got a patch with maintenance. The reception was bad; but I was able to convey the issue. Maintenance told me if the ECAM returned I could reset the pump again if it cooled. On descent; the ECAM returned. Again I complied with the ECAM; but this time the first officer and I felt it would be better to not turn the blue pump back on. We calculated the landing distance as per the manual and landed without incident.
