Narrative:
On approach at about 2000 ft AGL and 230 KTS we selected flaps 1 and got an EICAS message; le slat disagree. Followed the QRH procedure; declared an emergency. The landing was uneventful. Entered the discrepancy into the logbook.

Title: A B767-300 EICAS annunciated 'LE SLAT DISAGREE' while preparing to land. An emergency was declared; the QRH procedure followed; and a successful landing accomplished.
