Narrative:

Just after takeoff we noticed there was no airflow in the cockpit; the packs were on and the aircraft was pressurizing. The trim air/hot air system was deferred. I turned on the trim air/hot air system and the air flow resumed. Temp and pressure were normal. Phone patched with maintenance control and dispatch and all agreed to continue on to our destination and to monitor the situation. The rest of the flight was uneventful and all systems operated normally.
