Narrative:

Departing teb via the ruudy 2 departure procedure from runway 24. On initial climb-out I was correcting my altitude from 1700 feet MSL to 1500 feet MSL before wentz waypoint at the same time as ATC informed me of my altitude violation. These two events happened simultaneously as I was already correcting my altitude at the same time as I was responding to the ATC controller regarding the event. I was the only aircraft involved in this event and I took immediate corrective action.

Narrative: Departing TEB via the RUUDY 2 Departure procedure from Runway 24. On initial climb-out I was correcting my altitude from 1700 feet MSL to 1500 feet MSL before WENTZ waypoint at the same time as ATC informed me of my altitude violation. These two events happened simultaneously as I was already correcting my altitude at the same time as I was responding to the ATC controller regarding the event. I was the only aircraft involved in this event and I took immediate corrective action.
