Narrative:

Normal flight until 5 mile final. At approximately 170 KIAS put flaps from 20-25. Got a te flaps disagree EICAS message. Elected to execute a go around with tower. On downwind ran irregular procedure which directed a flaps 20 approach. Declared an emergency with approach. First officer performed a flaps 20 approach and landing after checking landing distance. Left flaps at 20 after landing for maintenance. No further problems.

Title: A B757 Captain reported receiving trailing edge flap disagree warning on EICAS when attempting to extend flaps to 25. The Flight Crew ran the procedure; declared an emergency; and landed normally with trailing edge flaps set at 20.
