Narrative:

I took the hand off on acft X at 10;000'. Aircraft later requested 14;000' landing ase. I climbed the aircraft; put in the new assigned altitude; and got busy with another situation. I did notice that the aircraft had leveled at 14;000'. I then noticed later that the aircraft started handing off to denver approach. What I did not notice was that the computer had started handing the aircraft to the wrong approach control sector. This has been an ongoing problem that remains unfixed. Aircraft assigned altitudes do not hand off to the right sectors at den approach. I feel this is just an adaptation problem that remains unfixed. South departure did not take the hand off which alerted me to the problem. I took the hand off back and initiated a hand off to I tags. The aircraft was taken by den approach (I tags) before the aircraft had entered their airspace. I have previously filed this type of problem.
