Narrative:

Following radar vectors we were clrd for visual approach runway 15 at bur. First officer flying. At approximately 8 mi on straight-in final (over range of hills north of airport) captain sighted white hang glider at 12 O'clock and approximately level. Descent was arrested and slight climb initiated and we passed over glider at 50-100'. Glider was visible below and right of aircraft after evasive action and approach was continued uneventfully.

Narrative: FOLLOWING RADAR VECTORS WE WERE CLRD FOR VISUAL APCH RWY 15 AT BUR. F/O FLYING. DSCNT WAS ARRESTED AND SLIGHT CLIMB INITIATED AND WE PASSED OVER GLIDER AT 50-100'. GLIDER WAS VISIBLE BELOW AND RIGHT OF ACFT AFTER EVASIVE ACTION AND APCH WAS CONTINUED UNEVENTFULLY.
