Narrative:

At approx 700 feet we got ECAM message 'left/G doors not closed'. The captain completed the ECAM procedure. The only things that needed to be noted were performance items due to the gear doors down. We had 3 green lights on the the ECAM display and on the main gear panel. We elected to land. Upon landing and slowing below 60 knots the captain assumed control of the aircraft. The exit; M3; was to the left but the aircraft was veering to the right. We stopped just short of the runway edge. We notified tower that we were disabled. After coming to a complete stop and setting the parking park the captain recycled the nose wheel/anti skid switch. The steering system came back on and we were able to turn left and exit the runway. We taxied to our gate; and notified maintenance of the problem. At no time did the aircraft ever leave the runway or paved surface.
