Narrative:

Aircraft checked on; while I was attempting to remove 'dwell lock' from datablock; inadvertently climbed aircraft to requested altitude with traffic 12 o'clock 7 miles northbound...corrected clearance and descended aircraft back to FL350. No loss of separation. Pay more attention to traffic than correcting the dwell lock to ensure aircraft are on frequency.
