Narrative:
Air carrier X on visual approach to runway 28R; air carrier Y pulled up beside; slightly lower and faster on a visual approach to runway 28L. Air carrier X advised local control they needed to go around. I coordinated the go around. When I came back to monitoring; air carrier X advised the reason was a TCAS RA on parallel traffic.
