Narrative:

Cleared by a terpz one RNAV departure. Correct runway and RNAV departure entered and verified by both crew-members in the FMC. After takeoff; the first officer correctly employed company procedures for runway 28 at bwi and engaged auto-pilot. When cleared direct terpz; it was entered into the FMC and executed. Both pilot's course deviation indicators indicated centered. After passing terpz departure control said the aircraft was turning early and directed us to turn right to a heading of 310 soon followed by a clearance direct hafnr. Bwi departure control then gave us a phone number to call after landing which I did.
