Narrative:
I just took over the sector. Since we have to comply with the new mandate of showing who we are talking to on frequency; and who we are not. I think I remember who I'm talking to; but I forgot about aircraft X going to ane and he entered msp approach without a hand off. I noticed this when I went to drop the data block and I wasn't able to. I immediately flashed aircraft X to approach. They took the hand off and I shipped aircraft X. I didn't call approach to say anything. Recommendation; I don't like showing who we are talking to or not on frequency. I don't have any suggestions; but I never had a problem before remembering who I'm talking to.
