Aircraft X was landing roll on runway 4R. The data block and aircraft icon completely disappeared from the asde-X display from taxiway east to taxiway Y. Recommendation; have the technicians look at this.

Title: BOS controller described an ASDE-X lost target event; the target disappearing between Taxiway E and Y for aircraft landing on Runway 4R.
Narrative: Aircraft X was landing roll on Runway 4R. The data block and aircraft ICON completely disappeared from the ASDE-X display from Taxiway E to Taxiway Y. Recommendation; have the technicians look at this.
