Narrative:
I was landing on an approach. The airport was reporting low-level wind shear plus or minus 40 to 45 KTS. On approach about 50 ft above the runway I lost 40 KTS of airspeed. The airplane wanted to roll-over. I lowered the nose then powered up; and gear up; that's when I made contact to the runway on a go around. I proceeded to the miss approach and came back to land again. The right side of the airplane gave way when I went into reverse. Then I ran off the runway.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A light cargo transport aircraft struck the ground during a go around following a windshear airspeed loss. During the subsequent landing the right main landing gear collapsed and the aircraft departed the runway.
