Narrative:

I noted a master caution and associated #1 AC gen caution light just prior to V1. I assumed the controls and rejected the takeoff (reaching a max speed of 85 knots) and the first officer advised the tower we were rejecting. We cleared the runway; stopped the aircraft and ran the AC gen abnormal checklist. The generator reset; so we contacted our dispatcher; the dispatch supervisor; and maintenance control. An informational write up was made; and we departed with no further problems.
