Narrative:
Scheduled aircraft escape slide change was accomplished. Slide girt bar was incorrect for position. To correct this; I reviewed the aircraft maintenance manual (amm) and general maintenance manual (gmm). Fatigue was a factor.

Title: An Inspector reports a B737-700 escape slide was replaced at Cabin Door 2-R (right). He failed to notice the girt bar was incorrect for the door position. The bar could not be properly secured to the girt bar floor fittings. Fatigue was cited as a factor.
Narrative: Scheduled aircraft escape slide change was accomplished. Slide girt bar was incorrect for position. To correct this; I reviewed the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and General Maintenance Manual (GMM). Fatigue was a factor.
