Narrative:

At the trim item on the checklist; I observed that the aileron trim indicator was showing an almost full right wing down indication. I centered the needle and we continued the checklist. As we began our takeoff roll I thought at first the ailerons were stiff - but as we went through 40 KTS they started to roll left. At 60 KTS there was no doubt that there was a problem so I retarded the throttles and rejected the takeoff. Max speed that the first officer observed was 80 KTS. After exiting the runway I looked down at the aileron indicator and it was almost full left wing down. I once again tried to center the needle - this time the needle jumped around erratically. We taxied back to the gate and called maintenance.
