Narrative:
On departure from runway 24 at teb; pilot flying failed to reduce power in a timely manner. Pilot not flying failed to properly monitor climb rate and proper power reductions and as a result exceeded the initial altitude on the RUUDY2 departure.

Title: A CE680 Captain reported that his First Officer failed to reduce power and level at 1;500 FT on the TEB RUDDY TWO RNAV Departure.
Narrative: On departure from Runway 24 at TEB; pilot flying failed to reduce power in a timely manner. Pilot not flying failed to properly monitor climb rate and proper power reductions and as a result exceeded the initial altitude on the RUUDY2 departure.
